FAQ
Frequently asked questions.
What is an "AI operating system for insurance"?
A platform layer that sits across your existing systems. It interprets insurance work, coordinates specialized AI agents to carry it out, validates results and records outcomes — rather than adding another standalone tool.
Does Bexara AI replace our agency management system?
No. Your AMS remains the system of record. Bexara AI reads context from it and writes approved results back where the integration supports it.
What happens when the AI isn't sure?
Results that fail validation, fall below configured confidence thresholds or conflict with other sources are routed to a review queue with the evidence attached. They don't proceed to downstream actions without review. The review is carried out by the Bexara VA team.
Can we require approval before changes are made?
Yes. Approval requirements are configured per workflow and action, and are enforced by the execution layer.
Where is our data processed?
That depends on the deployment model — managed cloud, private cloud or on-premises — and is documented for your deployment, including any external model providers.
Which carriers and systems do you support?
Supported systems and carriers are confirmed during scoping. We list named integrations publicly only when they are verified.
Are the demonstrations on this site real customer data?
No. Every demonstration uses illustrative data and runs entirely in your browser. No customer data is processed by this website.
Glossary
Platform terms.
- Agent
- A specialized AI capability that performs a defined part of a workflow, such as retrieval or policy checking, using only its permitted tools and data.
- Intelligence layer
- The part of the platform that interprets tasks, assembles context, coordinates agents and decides the next step within permissions.
- Workflow
- A configured sequence of steps — including validation, branching and approvals — that completes an operational process.
- Exception
- An item that cannot proceed automatically, for example because information is missing or conflicting. Exceptions go to a review queue.
- Execution policy
- Rules enforced in code that define which actions a workflow may take and which require approval.
- Trust boundary
- The edge of an environment you control. The deployment diagrams show which components sit inside it and which connections cross it.
